Power Generation / Thermal Power Sector
Having it’s genesis in ash handling, it was but natural that our first few installations were at NTPC Thermal Power Plants. In 1990s, NTPC Vindyanchal & Dadri installed these valves in slurry disposal duties and buoyed by their performance replaced their existing design of valves in a major way in quick succession. Almost during the same period, National Aluminum Company Ltd. (NALCO), National Fertilizers Ltd (NFL), Anpara TPS, Panki TPS (both UPSEB Plants), Hindustan Aluminum Company Ltd. (HINDALCO), Jindals Steel & Power Ltd. (JSPL) & Indraprastha Power Generating Company Ltd. (IPGENCO) installed these on a trial basis initially and later patronized & standardized these valves for their ash handling applications. Needless to say, these valued clients continue to use these valves and the numbers continue to grow by the each passing week.
Ash slurries create solids build-up. The sleeve design of Valves auto cleans with every cycle of operation on the gate or valve port because the sleeve will flex to allow grits and solids to pass through. The split seat will also pass solids, which would jam other designs. The EFA Valve can handle positive and negative pressures with resistance to dry particle wire draw and temperatures of up to 350 Deg C. |

Mineral & Mineral Processing
Where extremes of particle size are encountered, from slimes of less that 50 microns to particles often as large as 40 millimeters, the EFA Valve is the logical choice. It is designed to meet a wide range of conditions and provides maximum abrasion resistance even when passing or isolating slurries as high as 65% by weight. EFA Valves are ideally suited for heavy & medium slurry circuits. |
