POWER SECTOR
Applications:
Valves supplied by us are installed & running satisfactorily in many NTPC Installations including Dadri, Vindhyachal, Unchahar, Farakka, Kahalgaon and in most other Thermal Power Stations owned by State Electricity Boards such as GEB, RRVUNL, UPRVUNL, HPGCL etc. and reputed Public Sector Undertakings such as JINDALS, NALCO, HINDALCO, IRE, SPIC, STERLITE, IJC-Jordan, ESSAR CONSTRUCTION LTD etc. Our EFA Series model is being considered the most successful valve in ash slurry applications with the total installations in ash applications exceeding thousands in numbers.
In march 2008, our valves were hydro tested for 35 kg/sq.cm pressure by NTPC for their Talcher unit, which has working pressure more than 25 kg/sq.cm. These valves are now under successful operation, first of its kind in power sector for subject application.

Ash slurries create solids build-up. The sleeve design of EFA valves auto cleans with every cycle of operation on the gate or valve port because the sleeve will flex to allow grits and solids to pass through. The split seat will also pass solids, which would jam other designs. The EFA valve can handle positive and negative pressures with resistance to dry particle wire draw and temperatures of up to 300 Deg C.
